Expediting

Complex, large-scale projects can involve extensive international supply chains and require timely delivery of critical goods and equipment, with items procured from suppliers on different continents. Late delivery by a single supplier can significantly affect the entire chain, preventing projects from being completed on time or within budget.

Consequently, effective dispatch is a key element in any successful project execution strategy, where resources are planned and deliveries are made on time and to specification.

In many cases, it is impossible to be on site with every supplier around the world, so it is necessary to have proven local freight forwarders with in-depth knowledge of the procurement, production, and delivery processes. Although dispatch is a real-time task, often requiring decisive responses to situations as they occur, a forward-looking dispatch partner will work proactively to identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks in processes and schedules before production begins, and consider whether there are options to work more harmoniously with the supplier production team and other customer orders to expedite the delivery of the equipment for which they are responsible.

As your trusted shipping partner, INTERPROGETTI SAGL works with every link in your supply chain to keep you on schedule. Our highly experienced professionals are strategically located in the world’s most important industrial centers, ready to work closely with your suppliers to make sure your equipment orders are delivered on time or ahead of schedule.

INTERPROJECTS’ espediting service includes: preventive checks designed to prevent potential delays, monitoring of all production including the material supply situation, informing you of any potential delays or problems, managing production milestones, and working closely with suppliers when deadlines are at risk.

Non-destructive testing (NDT)

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is an integral part of the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. These inspections are crucial to ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of components and systems. We offer comprehensive nondestructive testing and materials testing services in various industries to detect defects in components, thereby reducing the risk of failure and improving reliability. Our experienced operators are qualified and certified at levels 2 and 3 according to ISO 9712 and SNT TC 1A, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy in testing procedures.

NDT services we offer include:

  • Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT): MT is used to detect surface and sub-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. This method involves the application of a magnetic field to the material and the use of ferrous particles to reveal defects, such as cracks or inclusions.
  • Visual Inspection (VT): Visual Inspection is the most basic and commonly used NDT method. It consists of direct inspection of a component with the naked eye or using tools such as magnifying glasses, boroscopes, and cameras to identify defects and surface irregularities.
  • Liquid Penetrant (PT) Inspection: PT is used to detect surface defects in nonporous materials. The process includes applying a visible or fluorescent dye to the surface, allowing it to penetrate into the defects, and then removing the excess dye. A detector is then applied, making the defects visible under ultraviolet or white light.
  • Induced Current (EC) test: EC is used to detect surface and sub-surface defects in conductive materials. It consists of inducing electric currents (induced currents) in the material and monitoring changes in current flow, which indicate the presence of defects.
  • Alternating current field measurement (ACFM): The ACFM method exploits electromagnetism: a test head generates a variable magnetic field, inducing a current flow in the material. In the presence of cracks, the magnetic field alters and the test head detects the changes. This method allows the determination of crack length and depth on duplex, ferritic, and non-magnetizable materials, including coated materials, without the need for pre-cleaning.
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI): PMI is used to verify the chemical composition of materials. This method ensures that the correct materials are used in the manufacturing process, preventing potential failures due to mixing of materials. Techniques such as X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and optical emission spectrometry (OES) are commonly used in PMI.
  • Thermography (TT): Thermography involves the use of infrared cameras to detect temperature changes on the surface of a component. These changes can indicate underlying defects, such as delaminations, voids, or cracks. This method is noncontact and can be used to quickly inspect large areas.

Using these advanced NDT techniques, we help ensure the integrity and performance of critical components and systems in a wide range of industries.

What is meant by technical staffing?

Technical staffing refers to the process of recruiting, hiring and managing employees who possess specialized technical skills and experience. This type of hiring is especially important in industries such as information technology, engineering, energy, construction, and other fields that require specific technical knowledge and special skills. Here are some key aspects of technical recruitment:

  • Specialized Recruitment: Identifying candidates with the right technical skills, certifications and experience that match the requirements of the job. Often this involves searching among highly skilled professionals who possess niche skills.
  • Screening and Assessment: Conduct in-depth assessments of candidates’ technical skills through interviews, technical tests, and hands-on evaluations to ensure they meet the standards needed for the job.
  • Logistical Support: Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including background checks, contract negotiations, onboarding and training. This ensures a smooth transition for both employer and employee.
  • Temporary and Permanent Placements: Providing hiring solutions for both short-term project needs and long-term employment. This flexibility helps companies effectively manage fluctuations in workload and project deadlines.
  • Sector Experience: Technical hiring agencies often possess a deep understanding of the specific industries they serve, enabling them to find candidates who not only have the technical skills but also the relevant sector experience.
  • Employee Support: Offer ongoing support to placed candidates, which may include training, career development, and performance management, to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the employer.

In summary, technical recruitment is crucial for companies that need highly skilled technical staff to maintain their competitive advantage and ensure successful project execution.
